Eco-sustainable fabrics

Our focus is clear: to run a business by creating real value.
This means serving our clients with the utmost dedication, offering quality, reliability, and expertise at every stage.

Our idea of excellence goes beyond the product: it is an approach that involves people, processes, and relationships. With the same commitment we dedicate to growth and customer satisfaction, we move towards reducing our environmental and social impact.

We believe that sustainability is not a separate goal from business, but its natural evolution: a way to ensure continuity, efficiency, and long-term value.

Every choice—from fabric design to raw material selection, from quality control to logistics—is guided by a simple yet essential principle: creating beauty while respecting the resources that make our work possible.

Environmental Responsibility

We promote real sustainability. Over the past few years, we have begun a journey aimed at reducing the impact of our activities.

We base our commitment on energy efficiency, innovation, and respect for natural resources.

Through scheduled maintenance, energy audits, and the installation of photovoltaic systems, we have worked to reduce consumption and emissions.

Respect for biodiversity and responsible supply chain management are ensured by a system of internationally recognised certifications: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, GRS, GOTS, RCS, and OEKO-TEX attest to the quality, traceability, and environmental compliance of our production processes.

For us, “being more sustainable” means producing high-quality Made in Italy fabrics through traceable, low-impact processes. Every stage of production, from fibre selection to finishing, complies with strict international standards that guarantee quality and responsibility across the entire supply chain. Within our wool mill, we oversee all stages of processing, ensuring the traceability and transparency that must be guaranteed.

Our goal is to combine innovation and craftsmanship to offer textile solutions that reduce consumption, emissions, and waste, contributing to a more conscious and circular fashion industry.

Social Responsibility

Titanus promotes a corporate culture based on respect, inclusion, and people’s well-being.

Titanus’ commitment to social sustainability translates into concrete actions that enhance both people and the local territory. The company promotes inclusion, equal opportunities, and workplace safety, creating an environment that supports the professional growth and well-being of every employee. Projects such as collaborations with local social tailoring initiatives reflect a business vision that integrates social responsibility, circular economy principles, and ethical employment.

Over time, we have built a stable, multicultural, and open working environment, where the diversity that defines each of us is recognised as a value. We are, of course, attentive to health and safety matters.

In recent years, we have encouraged sustainable mobility solutions and local collaborations. Our commitment is reflected in partnerships with Ida Tess Lab and the tailoring workshop of Parco delle Stagioni Impresa Sociale, which combine inclusion with the creative reuse of materials.

Governance

The corporate governance of our wool mill is based on transparency, business ethics, and shared responsibility. We promote a responsible management model that involves all company functions in compliance with ESG principles.

We ensure traceability and control across the entire production chain. Transparency is the foundation of our way of doing business: every day we build trust with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.

More than 40% of our supply chain is entrusted to local suppliers. This is a strategic choice that enhances the territory and supports the local economy. We have chosen to build proximity partnerships to reduce transport-related emissions, shorten the supply chain, and ensure direct control over the quality and traceability of every production stage.

Each year, we allocate over 2% of our turnover to research and development, a constant commitment that places us above the average in the manufacturing sector. Thanks to these investments, we develop technologically advanced fabrics designed to combine responsible innovation, durability, and increasingly high environmental performance.

UNI EN ISO 14001:2015
We have obtained ISO 14001 certification to demonstrate our concrete commitment to environmental sustainability. Achieving this certification ensures regulatory compliance and strengthens trust with customers and partners, positioning us as an ethical leader in the sustainable fashion supply chain.
GRS - Global Recycled Standard
GRS certification confirms our commitment to transparently trace the sustainable supply chain of recycled textiles. We ensure minimum content of certified pre- and post-consumer materials, reducing waste and environmental impact. We differentiate our products by addressing ethical fashion brands and responding to the demand for verified green supply chains.
GOTS - Global Organic Textile Standard
We have obtained GOTS certification to offer 100% certified organic fabrics with full traceability throughout the entire supply chain: from organic fibres grown without chemical pesticides to the finished product. We ensure production processes that meet high environmental standards, with the prohibition of harmful substances and GMOs, in compliance with international textile safety criteria.
RWS - Responsible Wool Standard
Our commitment extends to animal welfare: through RWS certification, we ensure 100% traceable wool sourced from ethical businesses that strictly respect sheep welfare, responsible land management, and water resource conservation. This positions us as a strategic partner for sustainable collections, responding to EU demand for transparency and reducing the environmental impact of wool production.
OEKOTEX Standard 100
OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification allows us to guarantee fabrics free from over 1,000 harmful chemical substances, tested for pH value, formaldehyde, heavy metals, and carcinogenic dyes.
