RWS Wool
RWS wool is certified according to the Responsible Wool Standard, an international voluntary standard developed by Textile Exchange that covers the entire supply chain, from farm to finished product.
This certification ensures that the wool comes from farms managed responsibly, with a strong focus on animal welfare, soil health, and responsible pasture management. RWS also includes social criteria, such as safe and fair working conditions.
Choosing RWS wool means creating fabrics and garments that respect animals, the environment, and workers’ rights. Every batch of RWS wool is traceable throughout the entire supply chain—from farm to yarn—through a controlled Chain of Custody system (Textile Exchange standard).
RWS certification ensures that sheep are treated ethically: no mulesing, access to pasture, adequate food and water, veterinary care, and responsible management practices.
RWS farmers follow sustainable grazing practices to protect biodiversity and soil health. A key objective is to prevent erosion and desertification.
Companies within the RWS supply chain are required to comply with strict environmental criteria, including reduced water consumption, waste management, and the controlled use of chemicals.
RWS wool is selected from certified flocks, ensuring a clean and homogeneous natural fibre, free from synthetic or blended contamination.
Every actor in the supply chain is audited by accredited third-party bodies, which issue the RWS certificate only when all requirements are fully met.

GOTS cotton
GOTS cotton is certified according to the Global Organic Textile Standard, one of the leading international standards for organic textiles.
These fabrics are made from organically grown cotton, cultivated without synthetic chemical pesticides, GMOs, or artificial fertilisers. GOTS certification ensures that the entire production chain complies with strict environmental criteria.
Beyond environmental aspects, the standard also includes social requirements, guaranteeing safe working conditions and prohibiting any form of labour exploitation.
Products must contain at least 70% natural fibers sourced from organic farming, cultivated without the use of synthetic pesticides or GMOs.
All stages, from fiber harvesting to garment manufacturing, packaging, and labeling, must comply with strict environmental requirements. The limited use of low-impact chemicals is required and certified. As part of the certification process, the proper management of water, waste, and energy is also verified.
Within the standard, safe and decent working conditions, fair wages, regulated working hours, and the prohibition of forced and child labor are verified. GOTS promotes ethical business conduct.
The entire supply chain must be traceable and subject to annual inspections and certification by independent third-party bodies that verify compliance with GOTS requirements.
The GOTS label logo provides consumers with the assurance that the product is made from organic fibers and processed under environmentally and socially responsible practices.
Recycled Polyester (GRS)
Recycled polyester (GRS) is a synthetic fiber certified according to the Global Recycled Standard, which gives new value to pre- and post-consumer plastic materials by transforming them into high-quality yarns.
The integration of GRS-certified yarns into fabrics helps improve strength, dimensional stability, and durability, while maintaining a high aesthetic standard. The GRS certification ensures compliance with strict environmental and social criteria across the entire supply chain, from waste selection to the finished product. The use of GRS recycled polyester represents a technical and responsible choice, aligned with the needs of brands and markets that are increasingly focused on sustainability.
It contains a significant percentage of recycled polyester (typically derived from PET bottles or other plastic waste), which is traced and verified throughout the supply chain.
It retains properties similar to virgin polyester, including good abrasion resistance, dimensional stability, quick drying, and easy care.
The certification imposes strict limits on the use of chemicals and requires production processes focused on reducing environmental impacts (energy, water, and waste).
