The manifesto
Titanus S.r.l. aims to actively contribute to ethical and sustainable development, promoting a culture of responsibility that goes beyond mere compliance with current regulations. The company encourages collaborators, employees, and suppliers to adopt conscious behaviours oriented towards the creation of shared value, fostering a common vision of social responsibility across the entire supply chain.
Through the integration of tools, practices, and initiatives dedicated to sustainability, Titanus invests in training and information at all organisational levels, with the aim of spreading a solid, participatory, and proactive environmental culture capable of promoting the responsible use of resources, the circular economy, and the continuous improvement of its environmental and social performance.
The sustainable procurement practices in which TITANUS SRL is engaged at all levels of its organisation are as follows:
-Purchasing goods and services in line with international principles promoting and protecting Human Rights, as defined by the UN Global Compact principles, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Labour Organization (ILO) Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, and supply chain transparency provisions.
-Inclusion of sustainability criteria as part of our supplier and contractor evaluation process.
-Application of environmental and safety legislation, including international obligations on climate change and sustainable development such as CO₂ emission reduction and biodiversity protection.
-Prioritising suppliers who have integrated ethical and sustainable practices within their organisation and extend them throughout their supply chain.
-Promoting sustainability awareness among supply chain partners and encouraging them to adopt sustainable practices.
-Purchasing goods and services that meet recognised environmental specifications or minimum standards, with the aim of continuously improving our procurement practices.
-Purchasing exclusively forest-based products from sustainable or recycled sources.
-Avoiding the use of environmentally harmful products when less damaging alternatives are available.
-Using products with minimal environmental impact, both locally and globally, considering resource sustainability, transport, energy use, and raw material consumption.
